Undergraduate
The College of the Arts houses music, dance, art, art education, history of art, design and theatre, and the Advanced Computing Center for the Arts and Design (ACCAD). Our faculty and guest artists create, study, teach, perform, exhibit, research and archive, honoring the past and tapping into the exciting future. Our student body includes 1,700 undergraduate and 500 graduate scholars from all over the world.

Many of the College of the Arts majors have competitive admissions policies,
in addition to the University admissions. See the department web site, or
contact the department directly, to learn more about admission to the major
of your choice.
- Step 5—Orientation
The College of the Arts directly admits all our students at orientation.
It is important to select an early orientation date for best selection
of classes. Students will take major specific courses along side their
General Education Curriculum (GEC) from the first quarter forward. Transfer
students should contact their specific department to get credit evaluated
prior to orientation.
