Professor Daniel is co-author of the 1998 grades 1-5 textbook titled ART EXPRESS. She co-developed content for the Kwanzaa Playground website with web-master Alison Colman, co-curated the multi-gallery exhibition at the Columbus Museum of Art titled AFRICAN INFLUENCES IN CONTEMPORARY ART: ARTISTS OF THE KWANZAA PLAYGROUND, and co-authored the accompanying catalogue. Professor Daniel is a member of the editorial boards of THE JOURNAL FOR MULTICULTURAL AND CROSS-CULTURAL RESEARCH IN ART EDUCATION and THE REVIEW OF RESEARCH IN VISUAL ARTS EDUCATION. She is the recipient of The Ohio State University Alumni Award for Distinguished Teaching.
