Arts Alumni Society

Welcome to The Ohio State University College of the Arts Alumni Society. All alumni and friends of the college – including art, art education, history of art, dance, design, music, theatre and accad – are invited to become a part of the organization and engage in society activities. The group gets together at least once per quarter. In recent months, for example, the Arts Alumni Society hosted a reception at a faculty art exhibition, took part in the grand opening celebration at the new OSU Urban Arts Space and is planning a May 10 event downtown at the OSU Urban Arts Space.

There's also the annual Arts and Sciences Alumni Tailgate Party, which attracts up to 1,000 people each year. It includes food, fun and friends outdoors on the edge of the Oval prior to an OSU football game, as well as a silent auction that raises funds for student scholarships. Upcoming Alumni Events

The 2007 Colleges of the Arts and Sciences Alumni Tailgate Party attracted more than 900 alums from the five colleges within the arts and sciences. The festivities on the Oval included typical tailgate food, entertainment like the Alumni Men's Glee Club and Brutus Buckeye, and a popular silent auction. This year's tailgate is scheduled for 9 am to noon on Saturday, September 6.
